Barbara Hoeft, President of Willow Street Financial Services, LLC, presented at the Opal Family Office Forum in Napa, California on October 28, 2014. She was joined by Willow Street’s Vice President, Betty Andrikopoulos.
Ms. Hoeft participated in a panel discussion regarding navigating the challenges of the trustee and beneficiary relationship. As a long-time director and administrator of several Private Family Trust Companies (PFTC’s) in Wyoming, she highlighted the benefits of these entities in preventing common difficulties for trustee/beneficiary relationships.
“PFTC’s provide continuity in leadership and can allow authority to reside within the family, among many other benefits,” said Ms. Hoeft. “Wyoming is unique in providing flexible structures for families, particularly through PFTC’s, making Wyoming a top choice for trust situs.”
