Scott serves as General Counsel and Chief Fiduciary Officer for Willow Street Group, LLC and its affiliate, Willow Street Trust Company of Wyoming, LLC. Scott’s experience as a Wyoming-based trust and estate attorney further enhances the firm’s capabilities in serving both domestic and international families and their advisors.
Following graduation from the University of Colorado Law School, Scott joined Gonnella Adamson PC where he focused on tax, business and estate planning. In 2017, when Gonnella Adamson merged with Mullikin, Larson & Swift, LLC to form Geittmann Larson Swift, LLP, Scott continued applying his knowledge in trust and estate planning, tax management, and philanthropic giving and working with families to incorporate the many benefits available under Wyoming law. Scott is licensed to practice law in the States of Wyoming and Colorado.
Prior to law school, Scott worked in the Emerging Market Economies section of the Federal Reserve Board as a Senior Research Assistant where he assisted with research, forecasting and modeling of the Chinese economy. In this role, he also assisted with the preparation of briefing materials used by former President George W. Bush at the Second Strategic Economic Dialogue with the People’s Republic of China.
Scott earned a B.A. in mathematical economics from Colorado College. Under his leadership, the University of Colorado debate team won the National Parliamentary Tournament of Excellence in 2010, the highest award in collegiate parliamentary debate.
An avid outdoorsman, Scott enjoys fly angling, skiing, and cycling throughout the Mountain West.
