Phil Harrington Advises World Economic Forum

Willow Street President & CEO Phil Harrington has served for several years as an advisor on cyber resiliency to the World Economic Forum. Most recently, Phil advised the Forum on a new report, Cyber Resilience: Playbook for Public-Private Collaboration that was released in connection with the Forum’s 2018 annual meeting this week in Davos. The report recognizes cybersecurity as a global public good that requires the combined capabilities of the public and private sectors. The report sets out a series of key value drivers that are intended to allow for a more nuanced and informed public policy debate over key cybersecurity challenges such as the tension between a citizen’s right to privacy versus a nation’s interest in security.
