What’s the best book you’ve read recently?
I strive to read thirty books a year, so I am always on the hunt for a captivating novel. Recently, I read one of my grandmother’s favorite books, “A Gentleman in Moscow” by Amor Towles. The story follows a Russian aristocrat sentenced to life imprisonment within a luxury hotel during the Bolshevik revolution of 1917, and entails politics, romance, espionage, parenthood, and poetry. While the book is technically historical fiction, it’s also a thriller and a love story.
If you could learn to do anything, what would it be?
I have always wanted to learn how to drive a car with a manual transmission. Growing up, my father was passionate about classic cars — specifically the first generation Ford Bronco. We have always dreamt about restoring an original Bronco together, so learning how to drive manual would be an essential step in the process.
