Chairman & CEO

Phil is chairman and CEO of Willow Street and also serves as chairman of Crestbridge Fiduciary, a strategic venture between Willow Street and Crestbridge. In addition, Phil is a senior managing director at Brock Capital Group, where he has served in independent fiduciary roles to large US pension funds. Phil has nearly four decades of operating, risk, and regulatory experience derived from earlier roles at CA Technologies, Deloitte & Touche, and Prudential Financial.

Phil was executive vice president of risk and chief administrative officer at CA Technologies, Inc., a $4.4B annual revenue software company, from 2010 to 2013. He had global accountability for information technology, human resources, risk management, real estate and facilities, government relations, and other functions. Phil served on the company’s investment committee, which evaluated and approved acquisitions approximating $500M annually during his tenure. He also established and chaired the company’s global information security council. During Phil’s tenure at CA, the company earned recognition as the top IT employer in India, one of the top 25 companies in the US for multicultural women, and was recognized by the Human Rights Campaign as one of the best places to work for LGBT equality. The company also jumped in three years from 385th to 5th greenest company in the US, as ranked by Newsweek. Externally, Phil advised the World Economic Forum in its initial development of cyber resiliency principles, speaking on the topic during two Forum annual meetings in Davos.

Prior to joining CA, Phil was director of business risk at Deloitte & Touche LLP. As a member of the firm’s Governance, Regulatory, and Risk Strategies Leadership Council, his practice focused on serving Deloitte’s financial services industry clients.

Phil joined Deloitte after serving in several roles at Prudential Financial, Inc., including chief risk officer of Prudential Institutional, which had annual revenues of over $6B, chief compliance officer of Prudential’s nearly $11B US insurance business, and interim head of Prudential’s $3.5B group insurance business. Phil began his Prudential career as director of mutual fund research.

Phil earned a BS, summa cum laude, from Western Michigan University and an MS from Cornell University. He is a member of the National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD). After spending most of his career in the New York metro area, he and his wife reside full time in Jackson Hole.
