Please join us in welcoming Zach Pearson and Kelsey Tobin to the Willow Street team.

Zach Pearson

Zach serves as a primary point of contact for client families, working closely with clients and their advisors, including legal, tax/accounting, investment, and banking leads. He is responsible for trust administration, financial reporting and analysis, cash flow management, and special projects. Zach brings a strong foundation in client centricity and improving operational processes to his role.

Prior to joining Willow Street, Zach served as a Senior Client Service Associate at J.P. Morgan Private Bank, where he specialized in cultivating and maintaining ultra-high net worth client relationships, navigating complex challenges, and identifying and implementing operational efficiencies. Previously, Zach was a Program Director at Regis University’s Innovation Center, where he oversaw the annual business competition aimed at empowering entrepreneurs and innovators to launch and manage meaningful, profitable, and impactful businesses.

Originally from Greenwood Village, Colorado, Zach relocated to Jackson from Scottsdale, Arizona in 2025. Zach earned his BS in Finance from Regis University. Outside the office, he enjoys skiing, golfing, and spending time with his miniature Bernedoodle.

What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever been given?

“There is no right time for the cat to throw up on the rug.” In other words, there is never going to be a “perfect time” to do something, so rather than waiting, take the bull by the horns and go for it.

Before joining Willow Street, what was the most unusual or interesting job you’ve ever had?

While not the most glamorous, one of my most unique jobs was working full-time in the finance department of a local car dealership during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020. At a time when remote work was becoming the norm, I was hired to work in-person. Despite the global shutdown, the dealership saw record sales and lending. It was a fascinating place to work during the pandemic: some people traded in vehicles out of necessity, others jumped at low interest rates, and more clients than ever paid in cash. Having loved cars since I was young, I had always wanted to work in the auto industry; this opportunity presenting itself after graduation was fortuitous.

If you could learn to do anything, what would it be?

I would love to learn how to surf or how to fly a helicopter. Both would push me outside my comfort zone and feed my love of adventure and the outdoors. Since I already snowboard and love swimming, surfing feels like a natural next step and a way to explore coastlines around the world. Flying a helicopter has always fascinated me too. The access it provides to remote terrain is incredible and gaining that skill would open up so many new perspectives and opportunities for adventure.

What’s your favorite place you have traveled to and why?

It’s a tie between the French Alps in La Grave, France and the Chugach Mountains outside of Valdez, Alaska. Both destinations have some of the most beautiful mountainous terrain I have ever seen. In Alaska, I spent two months working at a heli-ski lodge, which gave me my first taste of both Alaska and heli-skiing. When I wasn’t working with guests, I was snowboarding in the backcountry. My trip to France was another ski adventure in dramatic alpine terrain. Both places combined everything I love: adventure, natural beauty, and amazing food.
