Please join us in welcoming Layne to the Willow Street team.
As a Relationship Manager, Layne serves as a primary point of contact for client families, accountable for working closely with clients and their advisors, including legal, tax/accounting, investment, and banking leads. She is responsible for trust administration, financial reporting and analysis, cash flow management, and special projects. With extensive experience in client services, Layne is both warm and efficient in her client relationship management. She is pursuing her certification as a Certified Trust and Fiduciary Advisor (CTFA).
Prior to joining Willow Street, Layne was the transaction coordinator for the Jackson office of Guild Mortgage, assisting client families through the loan process through a deep understanding of mortgage products in a high-volume market. She is deeply committed to our community, previously working at Wyoming nonprofit Community Entry Services; as a habilitation coordinator, Layne served as the primary liaison for Jackson clients, their families, and their service providers.
Layne earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Sewanee: The University of the South with a secondary concentration in anthropology. Originally from New Orleans, Louisiana, Layne has lived in Jackson for the past ten years. She spends her time fly fishing, hiking, skiing, and playing in recreational soccer leagues. When not enjoying the outdoors, Layne enjoys spending time with her fiancé, their dog, cats, and ten chickens.
What’s your favorite way to spend a spring day in Jackson?
I would spend the day in a drift boat fly fishing on one of Jackson’s many rivers and waterways. My favorite place to fish is the South Fork of the Snake River because of the wide variety of trout species: Browns, Rainbows, and Cutthroats. My fiancé and I love packing a lunch, bringing our pup, and casually floating down the river, stopping to get out to stretch our legs or taking a quick dip in the cold water.
What’s the favorite place you’ve traveled to and why?
My favorite place I have travelled to is Thailand, where I spent two weeks exploring various cities immersed in Thai culture. Highlights included spending three nights at an elephant sanctuary in Chiang Mia, snorkeling and exploring the beautiful beaches of Phuket, hiking the Pai Canyon, and visiting the Wat Pho Temple in Bangkok. The trip was both relaxing and engaging.
