Our History

1990s

Our founder, Barbara Hoeft, begins working with our first client family, who remains a multigenerational Willow Street client today.

2005

Willow Street Financial Services, LLC is founded to provide family office and Wyoming private trust company services to multiple families.

2011

Willow Street helps establish the Wyoming chapter of the Society of Trust & Estate Practitioners (STEP).

2014

The Wyoming Council for Women awards Willow Street “Wyoming Employer of Choice,” recognizing our family-friendly policies and practices for working parents.

2015

Willow Street Financial Services, LLC becomes Willow Street Group, LLC; Barbara Hoeft, Tricia Overdyke, and Betty Andrikopoulos are founding partners and directors.

2016

We establish a state-chartered public trust company, Willow Street Trust Company of Wyoming, LLC, to serve as corporate trustee for our client families.

2016

As we obtain our charter from the Wyoming Division of Banking, Phil Harrington and Laurent Roux join Willow Street as two new partners and directors.

2017

Phil Harrington is named Chairman and CEO of Willow Street.

2018

Scott Weaver joins Willow Street as General Counsel & Chief Fiduciary Officer and a partner, and is elected as a director.

2018

Willow Street co-founds the Wyoming Trust Association to provide an effective, collective voice for the trust industry in Wyoming.

2019

Willow Street moves to a new building at 255 Buffalo Way to accommodate our growing team, ending the year with 18 professionals serving over 40 client families.

2020

After launching a strategic rebrand, Willow Street establishes a joint venture, Crestbridge Fiduciary, with Jersey-based fiduciary services firm Crestbridge Family Office Services.

2021

Governor Mark Gordon appoints Phil Harrington to the Wyoming State Banking Board to represent public chartered trust companies.

2022

Willow Street is named "Best Fiduciary or Trust Services Provider" at the Family Wealth Report Awards and grows to a team of 32 professionals serving over 150 client families.

2022

In December, Willow Street combines with Pathstone, a partner owned and operated multi-family office, as an independent sister company.

2023

Willow Street is again named "Best Fiduciary or Trust Services Provider" at the Family Wealth Report Awards.

2024

Governor Mark Gordon appoints Phil Harrington to a second term on the Wyoming State Banking Board representing the trust industry.

2025

Celebrating our 20th anniversary, Willow Street has a team of 45 professionals in Jackson Hole serving over 260 global client families.

2025

Willow Street is named "Best Fiduciary or Trust Services Provider" for the third time in four years at the Family Wealth Report Awards.

2025

Phil Harrington is elected to a two-year term as Chairman of the Wyoming State Banking Board in September.
