Please join us in welcoming Amanda Mohnk to the Willow Street team.
Amanda is a member of the executive management team and partners in leading Willow Street’s Client Services team, providing oversight and direction to Relationship Managers. She also works directly with several client family relationships. Amanda has extensive experience in client services, with a strong focus on operational efficiency and delivering an enhanced client experience.
Prior to joining Willow Street, Amanda spent nearly 15 years in client services, business development, and operations leadership at trust and financial institutions including Bridger Trust Company, Bank of Jackson Hole, and MassMutual Trust Company. Amanda holds the Certified Trust and Fiduciary Advisor (CTFA) designation from the American Bankers Association and the Trust & Estates Practitioner (TEP) designation from the Society of Trust & Estate Practitioners (STEP).
A Michigan native, Amanda moved to Jackson in 2021. She earned her BBA and MBA from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Outside of the office, she enjoys skiing, snowshoeing, paddleboarding, hiking, and biking. In our community, she serves on the board of Girls Actively Participating (GAP!) and the Habitat for Humanity Development Committee.
What’s something you’re passionate about outside of work?
Upon moving to Jackson, I quickly recognized and appreciated the community’s strong philanthropic spirit. I soon became involved with two local non-profits: Girls Actively Participating (GAP!) and Habitat for Humanity.
GAP! focuses on building confidence, leadership, and empowerment for girls in middle and high school, providing a valuable community for developing these skills. I’m looking forward to taking on the role of Board Chair for GAP! in 2025.
Habitat for Humanity is also close to my heart. Having experienced the housing constraints in Teton County firsthand, I believe it is crucial to create additional housing to support the region. I currently serve on the Development Committee for the Habitat 3.0 initiative, which will provide over 200 local housing opportunities in the coming years.
Looking back early on in your career, where did you think you’d be today?
Early on, I came across a newly created position at a trust company, despite not knowing very much about the industry at the time. Despite a lukewarm conversation with my mentor at the time, I decided to take a leap of faith, knowing I could always make a change if it was not a good fit. Today, almost 15 years later, I’ve never left the industry. I’ve not only thoroughly enjoyed the work, but also the wonderful colleagues and clients I’ve had the pleasure of meeting along the way.
