Barbara Hoeft raced in the 31st Annual Mini Hahnenekamm Town Downhill. Barbara placed 4th in her age division. Everyone at Willow Street Financial is very impressed with her guts and glory.
“The event is the [Ski] Club’s way of recognizing that skiing – and ski racing – is truly a lifetime sport. Jackson Hole is one of the last places in the country to organize and support a non-sanctioned downhill race. This community favorite draws over 200 competitors and 500 spectators.” – JH Ski Club
“Racing in the town downhill with former Olympians including the #1 senior womens’ downhill racer in the U.S. was exhilarating!. I couldn’t have done it without my husband, Chris, who has raced in the downhill before and was with me every step of the way. However, the best part about it was when I realized that the race took place on March 10th, what would have been my father, Frank Della Corte’s 80th birthday. I know he would have been so pleased to know that I made skiing such a big part of my life”.
