As Associate, Client Strategy, Claire helps lead marketing and branding strategy, communications, and strategic growth initiatives for Willow Street. With a background in marketing across multiple industries, she brings exceptional creativity, client centricity, and project management skills to her role.
Prior to joining Willow Street, Claire served as Director of Community Outreach at St. John’s Health, the local hospital serving Teton County, Wyoming, and its surrounding communities. She also led marketing programming at the hospital’s fundraising arm, St. John’s Health Foundation. Claire held positions in marketing and communications in the technology and telecommunications industries in the DC area before moving to Jackson in 2019.
Originally from Bethesda, Maryland, Claire earned her BBA from the George Washington University with a major in International Business and a minor in Journalism. Claire’s passion for learning and enhancing her intercultural competence has taken her to Africa, Asia, Australia, Europe, Middle East, and North America. Outside of the office, Claire enjoys skiing, tennis, and New York Times crossword puzzles. In the community, she serves on the board of Soroptimist International of Jackson Hole.
What’s the favorite place you have traveled to and why?
Kenya is easily one of my favorite corners of the world. This year I was fortunate enough to spend time in Nairobi and Maasai Mara. I was fascinated to learn more about the precarious wildlife populations, the fragile balance between the indigenous people, and the dramatic landscapes of East Africa. Also, there is nothing quite like the heart-stopping moment of seeing a lioness with her cubs just feet away.
What’s your favorite way to spend a winter day in Jackson?
Skiing! My favorite winter days start by waking up to fresh powder and blue skies, grabbing coffee in town, and then heading to Jackson Hole Mountain Resort. I meet up with one or two friends in the morning, but by the end of the day our small group grows larger as we run into people we know on the mountain. For me, a great winter day ends with live music, delicious food, and good company.
