What’s the favorite place you have travelled to and why?
Rafting down the Colorado River at the bottom of the Grand Canyon for 21 days in 2013 stands out as a trip of a lifetime. I had no access to technology and contact from the outside world as I rafted through the physical evidence of time. Aside from the rapids, there were endless side canyons, springs, ruins, flora and fauna to learn about and explore. I will forever be grateful for this experience and all the natural wonders of the world.
What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever been given?
To quote Ferris Bueller, “Life moves pretty fast. If you don’t stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.” I often think about the future, but this quote is a good reminder to be grateful for everything I have and to live in the present.
Please join us in welcoming Abby.
