Willow Street Group’s Managing Partner Barbara Hoeft participated in the Wyoming Governor’s Business Forum held in Cheyenne November 7–9.

The Governor’s Business Forum brings thought and industry leaders from across Wyoming together with experts from around the world to share ideas and foster economic growth within the state. With nearly 700 attendees this year’s Forum focused specifically on how entrepreneurship and innovation can shape Wyoming’s future while responding to the many changes in local industry and global technology. Several members of ENDOW, the Governor’s task force on economic diversity, presented on topics related to the growing technology sector in Wyoming, fiscal process and responsibility at the legislative and agency level as well as on the ENDOW efforts since its inception this past May. The conference encourages collaboration between business, legislators and organizations devoted to economic development. It also creates an opportunity to celebrate the successes of the people of Wyoming by inducting individuals who have demonstrated lifelong achievement in business into the Wyoming Business Hall of Fame.

“Governor Mead has challenged us as business leaders to think broadly about how Wyoming can be a leader in an ever-changing world. By focusing on technology and innovation and putting the State’s resources to work he has demonstrated that he has the wherewithal and vision for the future that Wyoming needs to compete in the global economy,” Hoeft stated.

Hoeft is a member of the ENDOW Executive Council and represents the Trust and Financial Services Sector.
