Matt Bahr CTFA
Director, Client Services
Joining Willow Street in 2014, Matt works closely with several multigenerational, multijurisdictional families administering complex private family trust companies. He serves as a primary point of contact for client families, accountable for working closely with clients and their advisors, including legal, tax/accounting, investment, and banking leads. Matt also serves as an officer or manager for key PTC relationships. He possesses a strong competency in governance surrounding these structures, with a keen awareness of the roles of protectors, committees, officers, directors, and managers. In addition to his client-facing roles, Matt is a member of the firm’s internal management team.
Matt earned a BS in Accounting from Saint Michael’s College, with concentrations in Finance and Marketing. He holds the Certified Trust and Fiduciary Advisor designation (CTFA) from the American Bankers Association, a course of study that hones the technical skills and competencies required to perform complex trust administration responsibilities.
Matt relocated to Jackson Hole from New Hampshire in 2011. He is passionate about backcountry snowboarding and lives by the motto, “it’s always worth the hike.” In the community, he serves on the board of Teton County Idaho Search and Rescue (TCISAR). When not in the mountains, Matt also enjoys golf, team sports, and spending time with his wife and their gentle giant of a dog.
