Laurent Roux

Independent Director

Laurent has worked with families and family offices worldwide for nearly 40 years, with a focus on strategic wealth management, family wealth advising, family office construction and operations, and international asset management. He was Director and Managing Director at Pictet & Cie, Private Bankers in Geneva, Switzerland, and a number of its international affiliates during his 25 years at the firm. Laurent participates in the overall management of Willow Street on the Board of Managers and is Chair of the Investment Committee of Willow Street Trust Company of Wyoming, LLC.

Following his years with Pictet & Cie, Laurent founded Gallatin Wealth Management, an independent wealth advisory and consulting firm that acts as a trusted advisor to families of wealth and family offices. Laurent leads or is a member of several investment committees, both private and institutional. He is on the Advisory Board of The UHNW Institute and is a Fellow and former Board Member at the Family Firm Institute, where he taught the Family Wealth Advising Certificate Program. He has spoken at leading business and wealth industry forums around the world, and has written articles and book contributions pertaining to family, business, and wealth.

Swiss by birth, Laurent’s family came to Jackson in 1966. He earned a BA from the University of Colorado and a JD from California Western School of Law in San Diego, California, and attended the Graduate Institute of International Studies Master’s program in Geneva, Switzerland. Laurent is currently Treasurer of the Special Operators Transition Foundation and Chair of the National Museum of Wildlife Art.
