Nate is a member of Willow Street’s executive management team and oversees the firm’s internal financial operations and reporting for all underlying entities. He also manages the firm’s internal control functions, including delegations of authority and segregation of duties within the company’s information technology infrastructure. Nate also leads information systems and business analytics, guiding data management and operational improvements that enhance efficiency across the firm. In 2021, Nate led Willow Street’s selection and implementation of a leading accounting platform to streamline and enhance our internal operations and delivery of client service.
Prior to joining Willow Street, Nate worked in both accounting and operations in the ski travel industry. He also spent three years leading mining and logistics projects in the Democratic Republic of Congo. During this time, he oversaw the accounting and governance for a number of entities in various jurisdictions and was an integral part of the first successful export of certified conflict free minerals from the DRC to the US in compliance with supply chain and traceability requirements under the US Dodd-Frank Act.
Nate is a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and earned his BA in Business and BS in Economics from The University of Puget Sound. When he is not working, he can be found exploring the outdoors with his family.
